THE PIGEONHOLE
The smallest thing in the room holds the biggest world
You fell asleep on the N. The car is crossing the sky and its end doors open onto the same car, again and again. On the third car the doors open on a platform that should not exist, and the platform opens on a bodega that is open 25 hours. There is a pigeon on the counter. Look into her eye. Inside the pigeon is a cathedral, a lost and found, a heart that keeps your time, a wing that turns you upside down and a brain that knows the way home. At the very centre is a museum, and in its glass case is the bodega you just left, live, with you in it, very small. Exit through the gift shop. The big snow globe holds the train.

Look her in the eye
Every bodega has a pigeon. Nobody looked her in the eye. One minute shot entirely inside the exhibition: into her eye on the drop, a museum inside a pigeon inside a bodega inside a dream, out through the snow globe and back on the N.
