PROFIT // PROPHET: two New Yorkers who both call the crash, and only one gets a bonus. Every picture in here is a pair like that. Walk past an ad on the platform one way, then the other, and it changes under you; stand dead centre and you get both. Click a split flap board and watch MORNING clack into MOURNING. Walk fast past the deli signs and they spin. Flip the light switch in the precinct and the mirror turns to glass. Whisper TAWK into a corner of the vault and TOCK lights up across the way. Watch the sun go down 42nd Street and turn SON into SUN. Ride the 6 through a blink. Then scratch the ticket in the gift shop.
